Vers l’âge de 19-20 ans il a fait un stage sur Savile Row ce qui lui permis de maîtriser parfaitement l’art du tailleur. Après un court séjour milanais, il intègre la Central Saint Martins School à Londres. Son défilé de fin d’année (équivalent de votre thèse) est intégralement racheté par Isabella Blow (éditrice British Vogue). Il deviendra son protégé et elle deviendra sa muse. LOVERS WITHOUT THE SEX. La fin n’est pas très gaie. Isabella se suicide en 2007, Alexander en 2010, la veille de l’enterrement de sa mère et quelques jours avant la LFW.
